Was this another experiment in HDR? I like the vividness of the brick colour, but I can't quite work out what is causing the areas of highlights and shadows on the side of the building.

@Jim (365,000 words): Hi Jim. Funny you mention the odd light effect. Tone-mapping has resulted in that effect in several of my HDRs and I haven't been able to figure out the combination of sliders that cause it. In this case, I liked it a lot but others I haven't. I'm still trying to puzzle it out...

I love the HDR effect on this one. It feels like a sort of museum lighting on the windows. Did you do something special to achieve it?

@Karthik: Thank you for the comment! The lighting on the windows was an unintended effect of the tonemapping in Photomatix. I liked it though...
